  • How do I care for my awesome jewelry?

    Although it’s not rocket science there are a few things you should know about your acrylic jewelry.

    • The acrylic is very durable, but may scratch if not stored properly. We recommend storing away from other jewelry in a box, or on a hanging rack.

    • NEVER clean your acrylic designs with alcohol wipes. If there are spots or fingerprints on your jewelry, please use a microfiber cloth to polish the piece. Regular towels or cloths could leave scratches.

    • Steer clear of swimming, showering, or bathing in your jewelry.

    • Sprays, perfumes, and makeup may contain alcohol, or other chemicals that may damage your jewelry. Please add your jewelry as your final step in completing your look.

    • Prolonged exposure to sun may discolor the acrylic. So please don’t store your jewelry in direct sun.,

  • What materials do you use?

    For our jewelry we mostly use cast acrylic. The acrylic material is cool stuff and comes in a variety of colors and finishes like high gloss, matte/frosted, mirrored, metallic, Iridescent clear, transparent and wood.

    Our default hardware for earrings is sterling silver. We also offer gold-plated and silver-plated hardware.

    Our boot charms hardware is stainless steel.

  • Where can I buy your stuff? Do you have a shop?

    We do not have a physical shop. We sell here at our shop and on Etsy . If you are in Savannah you can find some of our items at Locally Made Savannah.

  • Do you do custom orders?

    Yes and no. Depending on your needs, we may be able change colors, to change the hardware, or make minor adjustments to in-stock items or designs. Just reach out to us to share your thoughts.

  • Do you offer clip-on earrings?

    We do offer a couple of clip-on options. In terms of finishes we offer gold-plated, or silver-plated options. For hardware, we currently offer both stud and dangle options.

    If you are interested in purchasing clip-ons please message us with your request, and we will assist you in finding the best option.

  • Do you offer wholesale orders?

    Yes, we do! Contact us to discuss terms and conditions. We would love to work with you!

  • Where did you get your name "McGee Planet"?

    McGee is our family name. We love having a creative family with 2 boys that are into science and space. The name McGee Planet is our family business venture to have fun through artistic expression and to make cool stuff. It’s an extension of our family’s creative mark we are making on our little planet. We hope that we can inspire you to make yours.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Currently, we only sell in the USA. We do not ship internationally.
